NC Scroller
I have no connection to Klingspor or any other company. Klingspor will be holding their annual wooding working extravaganza on October 25 and 26 in Hickory NC. I know Steve Good will be there on both days and I also understand Bob Duncan, from Pegas will also be there. It is still up in the air but I might be doing demonstrations in the North Carolina Wood Worker booth again this year. Come say "Hey".https://www.woodworkingextravaganza.com/ OCtoolguy and lawson56 1
Roberta Moreton
I will also be there! OCtoolguy
Bpardue
I'll be there in the Carolina Scrollers booth as well. We are the ones hosting Steve Good. I will be doing the presentation on Intarsia both on Friday Morning & Saturday afternoon. If you have never been to this show it is one of the top shows around. But leave your wallet in the car or at home. There are a lot of good show sales. Best thing this year is a 12 thousand dollar door prize. Someone is walking away with a new woodworking shop from Klingspor. OCtoolguy, OzarkSawdust and VernLeonard

Jim McDonald
Wish I could go, but we're taking a fall foliage train trip up the New River that weekend. Hope to see a few pics along the way, and I will try to post some from the trip in the coffee house. OCtoolguy

OCtoolguy
I sure wish we had something like that near where I live. It seems like the Mississippi River is the division between the West and all the great woodworking shows/schools. Nothing at all near me. Rockytime
Agreed! There has not been a real woodworking show in Denver for years. I attended one years ago and was mesmerized at all the wonderful demos. That is where I first saw a Hegner. The guy was demonstrating crossing out coins. I had not seen a scroll saw before. I think that was the last show here. Woodcraft has demos on weekends and offers various woodworking classes which are of course fee based. Woodmaster1
My local woodworking store has demonstrations every Saturday starting the end of October through March and a Artisans Fair in August. I usually give 4 or 5 demonstrations during that time all at no charge to the attendees. I make a trip to Johnson's Workbench Wood Expo every year the weekend after Labor Day. The expo has discounts on machines and wood as well as several manufacture representatives. They have demonstrations and workshops all day Friday and Saturday. My woodworking club shop has hands on classes every Wednesday night free of charge and materials are also provided free. CharleyL
I'll be at the Klingspore Extravaganza on Friday, but I won't be working in the NCWoodworkers booth. Scott (NC Scroller) will likely know where I am, if you want to meet up with me, or look for the fat old guy with the tan hat that says "I make Things" on the front. I would like to meet every one of you. Charley Edited October 19, 2019 by CharleyL OCtoolguy and NC Scroller 1
