Popular Post OzarkSawdust
First project of this type for me. Pattern says "grampa2010" but I don't remember where I found it...lol. I think I'm becoming a pattern whore...I've got tons of patterns both saved and printed, some for now and some for more experienced days. Anyway...I did this on 1/8" BB ply with a light spray lacquer finish. I intend to mat and frame it. Scrappile
well done for sure. Someone else did this one recently. Trust me... you can never have too many patterns... I have bought at least 25 since last New Years when I announce my New Years Resolution,,,,: No more Patterns in 2019...! rjR
Extremely well done,. I still have some of the patterns that came with the first scrollsaw I ever bought; that was in 1953! I have boxes of patterns, from a multitude of different places and many that I made or heavily modified too. I now make templates of a lighter material from things I intend to make more than one of. scrollntole
Nicely done. I did the same pattern last year and just sold it yesterday at a craft fair. Father bought it for his son, now a Marine. I especially love patterns that tell a story, and this pattern by "grampa" certainly accomplishes that. Kudos. OzarkSawdust
Thanks for all the kind comments! Being the first of this type I've done, I really didn't know how it would turn out. It all came together when at the end I laid it on a piece of brown felt. The whole thing came to life! I'm sure I'll be doing more of these in the future. Looking at the progress in your work, I do not think there is anything that you could not cut, if you wanted to Dick heppnerguy OzarkSawdust

I’m just trying to play catch up to everyone here. And having a blast doing it! I’ve got to slow down and “clean the leftovers out of the refrigerator “ so to speak. I looked around and saw 3 or 4...maybe 5 projects in various stages of completion...lol. And got a bunch of stuff I want to try. amazingkevin and heppnerguy

I think most of us probably have several unfinished projects that are waiting our attention. Too many 'want to do' projects in our 'to do' lists. Rockytime
Although this pattern has been posted more than once I'm going to cut it and post it when done anyway. Grampa has done lots of great patterns. I particularly like outdoor patterns. Reminds me of when fishing was my passion.
