I 've been rounding up all my finished work to bring there. and putting black poster paper on the backs.tidying them up .Plus i'll have all the stuff i had last time.Someone else offerd me a free spot in a high class location ,now that the ice is broken i'll take them up on that one too.! sullyscroller Posted January 26, 2011 Report Share Posted January 26, 2011 Kevin , we've done arts and craft shows for years now , a little advice - make your booth presentable and welcoming. also don't sell your stuff at yard sale or flea mkt. prices . If i'm at a flea mkt. and i sell a piece at 10.00 then it's 20.00 at a show. Different class of people at a show , some will want to dicker on price , I just tell them "this ain't no flea mkt! cjswoodcrafts Posted February 4, 2011 Report Share Posted February 4, 2011 Hey Kevin, Wooohooo congrats on the free spot/admittance to craft fair, we will be hitting some this year for sure.... to get some free advertsing take a look at your local radio stations website and if they have pics of the dj's grab it aand get a pattern made and take it to them, along with a key chain, our radio station loved the gifts we made them, and got free advertsing every time we take something to them.
