OCtoolguy Posted October 23, 2019 Report Share Posted October 23, 2019 (edited) Two days ago, I placed an order with QTE (Qtena).com for a gross of #3 mgt Pegas blades. I also wanted one dozen of the #1 blades but everytime I added the dozen to my order, in the cart I found that it had doubled my gross order to 2 gross. So, I added the single dozen by asking in the comment box. I explained that I was having trouble with the cart/order area. They hit my card for the $29.90 plus tax for the single gross but there was no extra charge for the single dozen. I figured they just missed my note. Anyway, yesterday, one day later, I received my order. The package contained the gross and the single dozen with a card attached. On the back of the card Richard noted that he was not charging me for the extra dozen blades to make up for my problem with ordering. That is a "stand up" company in my estimation. I will be buying all of my Pegas blades from QTE. It's the same company that I purchased my Pegas clamps from. Their service is top-notch. I realize that I live very close to them and that is probably why I got my order overnight but if they have what you order, in stock, it will be shipped out very fast. Give them a try. Best price around. But to keep their price down, they don't split gross orders. Richard explained to me that his best price from Grobet is in gross quantities but he is working on trying to get a better deal now that Bob Duncan has come on board with Grobet. JimErn Posted October 23, 2019 Report Share Posted October 23, 2019 Very timely post, I was just getting ready to order, so I went with QT, I had the same problem with the order form I also asked them to skip a line or put a divider or something between the listing. I can't believe they are not using options for the item where you select the package size and qty. D&D is this same very basic ordering page too. Be sure to tell him you saw something on SSV. You don't have to mention my name. I told him that his company came up on SSV and that's how I found them. That way, he knows that we all know where to shop. Not to take anything away from the other vendors. They all do a great job. Give him a call to make sure your order doesn't get screwed up. I was surprised since they are in CA that they came so quick.. I may have to give them a try with the blades.. bandaideman Posted October 24, 2019 Report Share Posted October 24, 2019 I did get the pegas clamps from them for both my dewalt and seyco. I had the same difficulty that when I ordered the second clamp as with the blades I ordered the second one it showed as a second one of what I had ordered and charged accordingly. I do not remember what I did but I was able to order one with lever tension and one without. But when first few times of ordering even when I selected one and then the other I would show up as ordering 2 of the same one.
