Popular Post trackman
Due to my wife's stained glass business getting bigger she needed more space. So I made a door that now goes from her shop into the garage. Because my wood shop was in the garage I had to find a new spot. We have a barn for three horses and storage. I took a 20' x 20' section and remodeled it for using as a new shop. The pictures show it as you enter and go clockwise around the room. My son did the wiring for me. The barn/shop now has 8 circuits, three for barn and 5 for shop. The AC has it's own, 10 4' LED lights own, jet air filtration has it's own. Then every other outlet drop is on a different circuit. This way I can have two big drawing machines on at the same time without popping a bleaker. I put the dust collection and the shop vac on the outside of the shop to help with the noise an to save space. I insulated an put in a new floor with OSB sheeting on walls. Makes for a nice work space. The wood storage is in the barn space. Now to find were everything is again LOL Be_O_Be, Dave Monk, stoney and 12 others 13
heppnerguy
Looks like you have thing pretty much in order. Your shop is really nice and you have incorporated a lot great items. I particularly like your dust collection system and all the drawers for storing items. I bet you are just about ready to fire up the saw and get booking on some Christmas items for the family. Thanks for posting this nice tour of your new shop Dick heppnerguy OCtoolguy

OCtoolguy
Very nice set up. In my shop, I can play solitaire, in yours, you could play tackle football. I SO envy you.
kmmcrafts
Very nice set up.. I hope to finish my shop one day.. put it up in 2012.. but since then it's been a real slow process... Every time I go out there to hang some more insulation or run some more electrical wires.. I see a scroll saw with a half done project and next thing I know I've sawn for 3 hours and then it's time to come in for dinner..
