As I set it up, I removed the hold down clamp just as most of us do. I noticed there is a blade clamp about 1 inch in front of the blade clamp. It made it hard for my fingers to install the blades, so I removed this blade guard. Rather easy, but I had to remove the table to get at the blade guard. Now on to scrolling. I wonder if Ray used to take those off the saws he sold... I can't see how anyone could easily change blades etc with them in the way..
