Another Sue Mey Pattern

My wife wanted a Kleenex box cover to match the kitchen decor, so she contacted Sue and she made the following  pattern. Then the hubby went to work and now we have the result. Wife is happy and husband has a happy life LOL

I was just looking at those the other day. Were they hard to put together. You did a great job.

Sue Mey puts out a lot of really great patterns. I have several of hers. This Kleenex box is really a delicate and interesting one, indeed. Easy to see why you have a happy wife and are enjoying it yourself. Way to go.

No they are easy, I measured the sides and cut them with my chop saw, so it is easy to have a perfect match and I jut used my round sander to round up the edges. I also cut the hummingbird pattern from Sue.

I have trouble getting things to stay square while gluing. How you do it?

I wait until the glue becomes tacky before applying the clamps to it. I used Weldbond glue.

Thanks I was thinking about making a jig to hold together. Have to give weldon a try.
