This is my first attempt at Intarsia. The rose is redheart, the leaves are poplar and the stem is walnut. I still need to do some more sanding and shaping. I am thinking of putting it on top of a oak box that needs to be made.

That's beautiful. You are well on your way. Great job of cutting and shaping.

It is finished. I put it on top of a quartersawn red oak box. Arm-r-seal finish.

After seeing your finished project, I'm so humbled. You are talented and I can't wait to see what you come up with next. That rose is beautiful. What wood is it made of? Cedar?
