tbphotos
I just saw an ad on the 'Free' section on Craigslist, also right here in my town, who has a bunch of 3/4" cedar planks, 4 1/2" wide by 3 1/2 to 4 feet lengths, he said I can take as little or as much as I want. Going to pick them up later today. Might be good for some intarsia work, we'll see.

Kepy
You could always glue them up in wider widths. I really like working with cedar except when it's time to sand.

Kepy
The cedar dust can be irritating. Smells great but generates a lot of sneezing.
mikesscrollsaw
I'll have to keep that in mind if i ever work with cedar
sullyscroller
It also has a lot of pitch in it so it tends to clog sandpaper faster especialy on drum sanding. Ron
