Vector01
My daughter called me last night and asked if I could make a gift for one of her friends. She said "something out of wood, you know." I laughed and replied "Along with scrolling I'm a part time psychic." "What does she like?" My daughter said that her (friends) boyfriend was teaching her how to play texas hold'em. He was always telling her to "Put on her poker face." I said "Ok, Ive got an idea." I started Inkscape and went to work. Made from 3/4" pine cut with a Fd-UR 5 blade. Finished (base) with minwax dark walnut stain and upper portion with minwax natural stain. Took about an hour and a half (with breaks) to cut. Overall it's seven inches high by seven and a half inches wide. I chose the 10-2 of hearts which was a hand made famous by lengendary poker player Doyle Brunson. Doyle had won two of his ten poker championships playing those cards.
