Popular Post Old Joe
....so I decided to scroll Merle out of a 1/4” piece of cherry I had around. It was really fragile to work with. A Charles Dearing pattern. It is also quite small,6”x 8.” Edited November 5, 2019 by Old Joe Add info OzarkSawdust, amazingkevin, Jronn65 and 14 others 14 2
Foxfold
Great cutting. I had to look up Merle and found out his name. A lovely play on words too. xx Old Joe
heppnerguy
Well you sure nailed this one. Difficult cuttings always bring the greatest pleasantry when finished, as I am sure this one has done for you Dick heppnerguy Old Joe
Scrappile
Yep, that is a very nice cutting. I do not do many celebrities, but I really like the faces that show some mileage and maybe some rough hard living.... Old Merle always looked that way to me. His face has character and you captured it... Old Joe and heppnerguy

flarud
Awesome! I'm a huge Hag fan. I just saw two of his sons in concert last Friday. It was the second time I have seen them in the last couple of years. Any chance that you can send a link to the pattern? I seem to be a masochist sometimes. I shrunk the pattern so as I could cut it on the Cherry I had around. It would’ve been a bit easier to cut from Baltic Birch.
