trackman
Not sure about your saw set up. But on my EX21 you can adjust how aggressive it cuts. If real aggressive the blade will bounce the wood. I adjusted mine to were you place a piece of wood up to it and there isn’t any bounce. kmmcrafts
Welcome to the village.. I used to have a 162VS.. not too bad of a little saw.. I don't think it's a "too aggressive issue unless something is wrong with the saw.. Make sure you have your blade in so the teeth are pointing down.. I suspect maybe the blade is in wrong side up... Also a real dull blade may do this as well.. Maybe some more information as to what your trying to cut.. and what blade you're using could give us a better idea of what's going on.. That's what came to me 1st also. I worked summers at a sod farm as a youth. We always reminded people, "green side up" Lame joke but hey, it was a sod farm. lol OCtoolguy, John B, munzieb and 2 others 2
MrsN
Not exactly sure what you mean by "bumps back at me". If you are not holding the piece of wood down it will sometimes bounce as the blade catches. It takes a bit of practice to get the right amount of pressure to stop the bounce but light enough to be easy on the hands. If you have a large blade you will usually have more of the bounce. Denny Knappen
This happens more on reverse blades. OCtoolguy
Roberta Moreton
You need to hold the wood down as well as guide it through the cut. OCtoolguy
