Popular Post JimErn Posted November 11, 2019 Popular Post Report Posted November 11, 2019 Respects to all my fellow vets Β It is the soldier, not the reporter, Who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, Who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, Who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, Who salutes the flag, Who serves beneath the flag, And whose coffin is draped by the flag, Who allows the protester to burn the flag.by: Father Denis Edward O'Brien, USMC Β OCtoolguy, meflick, Jim McDonald and 8 others 6 5 Quote

JimErn Posted November 11, 2019 Report Posted November 11, 2019 Jerry, I have to laugh at the expression peace time.Β The cold war was indeed a war, the public has no idea how close we were, nor how many times we were close to an all out war, and the other side blinked.Β Thanks for writing that check payable to the United States, for the amount of, "my life if needed" and thank god it was not cashed Army 1969-1989 kmmcrafts, RabidAlien, stoney and 2 others 3 2 Quote
