I would stack 3 pcs of ply and use a #5 Olson match blades I never cut just one piece of ply  you cut 3 pcs so you will have 2 good ones if you get 3 its a good thing but if you adre cutting only one piece I would use a #3 I verlly seldom use 1/8 ply unless i am cutting orniments then I stack4 to 6 pieces.

I'd probably use 1/4" ply myself and stack 2, just because I think the 1/4 would make it pop a bit more than 1/8th. That's just personal preference though and it will look great either way.   As far as blades go I'd probably use a FDUR #5 whether cutting 1/4 or 1/8th inch stacked.

As has been mentioned on the forum a few times, it may depend more on what saw you are using.  The more aggressive a saw cuts, you may want to use a less aggressive blade.

I have an EX-21 and I'd probably use an FD-UR #1 for up to a 3 layer stack of 1/8" thick BB ply.  Those bridges in the letters look pretty small, so that's is why I would tend to go with a smaller blade, for more control.  Otherwise, I'd probably use an Olson #3 Mach blade.

Not very often I cut only two 1/8" in a stack.. I typically am cutting 4-6 at a time.. On occasion I stack two and that's usually because it's something personalized that I just don't need more than the two.. Anyway.. cutting two I would use a Pegas MG #3.. actually pretty much use the number 3 up to 3/8 - 1/2" stock.. and then a number 5 from 1/2 - 3/4 unless it's a puzzle.. then I use the #3.. It doesn't look too intricate where a very small blade is really needed...
