Popular Post OzarkSawdust
I decided to try a portrait. So I found Steve Good's "Easy Elvis" and cut it yesterday. It's going up for sale at The Rustic Barn so I just stuck it in a cheap frame. It's 1/4" BB ply done with a Pegas MG #3 and finished with spray lacquer. amazingkevin, jollyred, Scrolling Steve and 14 others

rjR
A fine job and the frame works well with it too. The matting I think is an excellent idea. OzarkSawdust

Thanks! The frame is a cheapy on sale at Michael's, but good enough to display for sale. I saw the mat at Walmart a couple of weeks ago and thought it might look good on something...lol. It's tough to find a pattern somewhere between this Elvis and a Charles Hand portrait! I like his "Little John" and may try to tackle that one when we get down to the border next month. It looks just like an old ARMY buddy of mine a few years after he retired.

That's good to know...I'm taking this one to the flea market today and put it in my booth for sale. I might take the one of the boy fishing also, I posted it here a week or two ago.
