meflick Posted December 8, 2019 Report Share Posted December 8, 2019 (edited) @barb.j.enders Barb, if you already had Inkscape installed, then you need to set it as the default program for opening SVG files, For some reason it sounds like it is defaulting to Google Chrome for SVG files based on Travis’s statement above “. . . Looking at this, it appears you don't have Inkscape installed on your computer. As a result, it is opening in Google Chrome, which won't work . . . To do that, right click on any SVG file, and you will get a menu, from there choose to open this file type with Inkscape. (I am on my IPad right now so I can’t give you exact menu choices but should be clear when you right click. If not, let us know and I or someone can give you more specific menu listings.)
