shiney b Posted December 4, 2019 Author Report Posted December 4, 2019 thanks for the welcomes! im sure ill find all kinds of useful info here. i had forgotten about my old scrollsaw to be honest. a week or so ago i was watching a video of dale at maple tree studio sawing a 3d portrait of the joker (from batman of course!), and i thought...HEY! ive got a scrollsaw sitting in a storage shed not being used! i could saw parts to go with and on projects that ive been turning on my lathe. like i said, upon plugging it in, and turning it on, ive found it has issues. (mainly, staying at a constant speed) but ive found the cause, and the remedy, and HOPEFULLY it will be up and sawing soon! in the meantime, ill look around this site, and get familiar with it. thanks again, dave. (ps....im FROM oklahoma. i just happen to be stuck in toto-land. lol) Quote
