ChelCass Posted December 5, 2019 Report Posted December 5, 2019 Morning Steve, I have been in your situation. Had left hip replaced 5 years ago. I remember only to well what I went thru. The key to a quick recovery is Do your Exercises. The first 7 days are the worst but after that I really started to improve. I was walking without a walker (slowly) and I used a go cart at any store I went to. Take you time, rest when you need to BUT keep moving! Speedy recovery to you. Scrolling Steve 1 Quote
Foxfold Posted December 5, 2019 Report Posted December 5, 2019 Thanks for the invite, enjoyed it immensely. As has been said, I know they are painful, but doing the exercises will help your recovery. Take good care, we are all thinking of you .. Scrolling Steve 1 Quote

meflick Posted December 6, 2019 Report Posted December 6, 2019 Steve, I'm late, but always love a good Krispy Kreme doughnut no matter the time of day. Sorry to hear about the need for the hip replacement, prayers said that you are doing well and continue to heal without issues. Listen to the physical therapist for sure and keep moving. Scrappile Posted December 7, 2019 Report Posted December 7, 2019 If I could I would come and bring some "Spudnuts". This is a business in my little home town. Been here since 1948 and still going strong. I've been eating them since 1950 since they moved to their current location. Still run by the same family, current owner is the daughter of the originator. http://thespudnutshop.com/ Scrolling Steve 1 Quote
Jim McDonald Posted December 7, 2019 Report Posted December 7, 2019 (edited) Had a spudnut in the town where I grew up. Unfortunately, it closed before I was old enough to go that far on my own. Edited December 7, 2019 by Jim McDonald Scrolling Steve 1 Quote
