That would be awesome to have the L-88 tri power.. unfortunately it's powered by a Japanese PC21S movement with a SR626SW battery.. Was out sawing some ornaments and was thinking about your comment with the motor combo etc.. got me to thinking.. I'm thinking it'd run a little fast and not keep time too well with that kinda power and torque, amazingkevin and OzarkSawdust 1

I think the correct term would be brand new NOS ( New Old Stock ) is the correct term.. though not sure that applies to cars.. I know car parts and tractor parts do because I used to sell parts like that.. Thank you for the kind words
Jim McDonald
The SR626SW is quite a workhorse! Sold hundreds of them when I was with the Shack. kmmcrafts

Yes Sir... They are the best.. I order my clocks specifically with that battery in it... If not then they put in some china battery that last almost long enough to set the clock, LOL.. I sure miss the Shack.. I'm not sure if they all closed up or just the ones in my area.. but we do not have any around here anymore.. Was one of my favorite stores back in the day.. Always buying parts to hop up my C/B radios.. LOL
OzarkSawdust
Beautiful Vette ! I almost bought one like that years ago. Then Dad found out what insurance was for a 17yr old boy and a ‘68 427 Vette was...no way... The store I started in is a franchise and Stan is still doing business, but is unsure how long the name will last. I spent 20+ years on the company side. Made a lot of friends across the counter and across the country. (Just can't remember half their names anymore) kmmcrafts

I wouldn't understand that.. No dad, I'll not speed.. I'll drive it like grandma drives.. ( That probably would be worst, LOL ) OzarkSawdust
