John B
Well, it was a bloody hot 42c and only mad dogs, Englishmen and silly Aussies come out in the midday sun. It's going to be over 40 most of next week. Set up when it was relatively cool at 8am this morning, but packed up and was home by 12.30 pm. Had about $300 more in the sky rocket then when I left so, I suppose, melting a little was worth it Now to consolidate and make a few displays for next year, for myself and my daughters Jewellery. Wilson142
Congrats! 107 degrees F? Just your typical summer day here in the Ol' Pueblo. It's dry heat lol. I have to admit, after 110 F it's hot, dry or not. Good thing is, you don't have to shovel sunshine!! GrampaJim and John B
meflick
John, glad it was a profitable morning for you. I can’t imagine having the holiday season in the heat of summer. I know frosty wouldn’t for sure. Even though we seldom get a White Christmas where I live, that is the iconic image in my head of the holiday which does not equate to the leaf of summer. wombatie
Our heat wave is hitting this week but it's not rained for about 3 weeks, we could really do with some. Congrat's on surviving the market in the heat. Marg John B

Marg It's not pleasant. 44c today and then dropping to the mid to high 30's for a two or three days then baaaaaaack up we go into the 40's I can't remember when we last had good rain. It has tried a few times but nothing but a few drops. Last night we had about 10 minutes but it dried and soaked in as soon as it hit. 5 minutes after it had finished you'd never of known. Makes me truly admire the explorers, settlers and prospectors, bugger all water, stinking hot and dressed as they were. wombatie
Sycamore67
Wow, that is hot but I would not mind a day like that now. With the snow and cold here, a warm day,not hot, would be fine. I had to look up your location to learn a bit. I was amazed at the Super Pit ...big deep and dusty and hot and Gold.
