That is a WOW, Don.  And congratulations to you for building it.  Really turned out nice. Nice of you to donate it so itcan be enjoyed by many.

By the way, I just thought about this a couple days ago and was wondering if you would get it finished..  Good on you!!

Thanks everyone for your comments. A special big THANKS to Birchbark for the design and encouragement to try this.

Don, that came out great!!  I'm so glad you finished that.  I thought some others were going to attempt it, but i think they must've given up.

Just in case anyone else might be interested in this pattern, here is the original pattern request and the pattern i made to help.

It was a lot of work, if anyone wants the pattern, PM me.

Russell - thank you for all the work you did to craft this pattern.  I watched its development last year as you all progressed through it. I know it has taken a lot of time and effort on your part to create the pattern and for Don to cut and create one.  He did a fabulous job with your pattern.

I've added a clickable link to the discussion and pattern info. that Russell provided above:

@Birchbark, Many thanks Russell for that wonderful pattern. I may make another this year and follow your design a bit more closely, also a bit closer to the pictures that started it all. I took it to the  Childrens Hospice and they loved it, I also took some of the toys and ornaments left from the Christmas Fayre we had at the Mens Shed and left them to be distributed among the kids. Thanks Again.

@meflick, Thanks for the link I will probably make another this year if the members of the 'Shed' feel  they can find somewhere that would appreciate it, maybe an old folks home ??

Thanks again to everyone that commented, and a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year to you All.
