Popular Post Wichman
I needed a way to use the 2 inch wide packing tape on a bench top. Nothing was available locally. So, I bought a tape gun that had a bolt on handle, removed the handle and clamped it to the bench with a pair of vice grips. Now I can tear off small strips of tape when I am working with patterns and stacked assemblies. This is (for me) much easier than using it as a tape gun. dgman
Very clever. Beats rolling over the end of the tape like I do. OCtoolguy and SCROLLSAW703

Heli_av8tor
Denny, Years ago I had a friend with a solution to the cluttered bench problem. He suggested building all benches on a 45 degree incline towards the front. Now the bench is clear but I can't walk up to it. Rockytime
Cool idea. That would be handy for me with the exception of painters tape instead. OCtoolguy and SCROLLSAW703 1

Has a nice heavy base to it so it doesn't move around when you don't want it to. OCtoolguy
