Christmas presents for my family

Russell generously made me another portrait pattern of my Pop at the beginning of the year, I did two stack cuts of 4 and made up my own frames. I also laser cut the back of each frame and gifted them to my family for Christmas.

I was thinking of cutting a bunch of wood portraits of myself, but all I could do is donate them to the military torture units.

I'm sure your family will love your gifts. Its becoming rare that a gift is thought about and made, just grab a tv gadget and they will mail and gift wrap it. RJF

Simon I understand that you did those 8 pieces with a laser equipment, but what is the technique to transform the photo to a model for the laser machine?

I would like to do that kind of piece with my scrollsaw.

He only lasered the back of the piece to add name and title.

I only laser cut the words on the back of the frame, but I use adobe illustrator for that

Wow Simon, those came out great!!  I'm betting the family loved them.  Nice work and such great gifts.
