a very nice cut. I always enjoy your posts, Peter,  as all are so nicely done. One question for you. I see what appears to be some kind of nails in the corners, appearing to hold the front and backer boards together. Could you explain what you use for that  and do you also use glue? Also what thicknesses are your two boards?

Fabulous cutting.  I bet your customers were thrilled with them.

I was just thinking of you and wondering where you where we haven't seen you.  I hope you are nowhere near the fires.  Stay safe.

Marg

I am fine thanks Marg ,just very busy doing other stuff. The fires are not close to us thank god & thank god for all our firefighters some who have paid the ultimate price. Cheers Peter

Yes Dick they are small round headed brass nails put there mainly for a bit of decoration & secondly if the glue ever fails they would hold it together but mainly just for show. I use 4mm Marine Ply for the cutting & 9mm MDF for the backing. Cheers Peter
