Is it missing blade clamps or something or just the angle of the photo.. Unless I was about to get it for like $50 or less.. I think I'd pass unless it proves to be all there and in working order... there is too many deals on scroll saws in my area to pay very much for a real old saw like that one.. JMO OCtoolguy 1 Quote

Dan, I blew up the pic and it is that huge motor that's driving that saw. If you look close you can see that it is sitting right behind the saw and the compressor is sitting further back. You can just see the belt/pulley on the saw. But it is very deceiving. tomsteve 1 Quote

I looked at that picture several times and it seems for all the world like the motor is sitting on a bracket, mounted to the back of the saw. I looked up a PDF of the manual and discovered that it was a belt driven saw, with the drive pulley on the back, left hand side of the saw, which is consistent with the picture. Just looked like an awful big motor for that saw. OCtoolguy 1 Quote

If that would be the case that is a heavy duty type used with a motor that size.. I would think the saw had a switch on the saw somewhere. Just to ad a little more, the wire from the motor is going under the table and you can see it hanging down. That would go to that stop /start switch. Looking further, there does not appear to be a thumb screw on the upper clamp, but the arms look like EX and DeWalt arms so the clamps could be replaced. OCtoolguy 1 Quote
