Take your time and ask for help any time you think things seem almost impossible for you. We all love to help one another and keep your first pieces to compare your progress. Even if you feel 'you have it figured out', you will soon understand, you never stop learning at this hobby. Have fun.. that is the most important part and take a look at the videos in the university part of this site Dick heppnerguy Thanks for the video tip. I'm still exploring. I did a Teddy that my husband was pretty impressed with, today. I'm making a second one, mirror image. I put all the things I have made on the table and there's a marked improvement already. Maybe there's hope for me after all! I'm still getting set up. Tomorrow we're going to put the scroll saw on an angle to make it more comfortable, right now I'm sawing standing up, I'd rather be sitting so I can saw longer. Also, the sanders are still in boxes, everything has been hand sanded so far. I believe it when you say you never stop learning. I just got some books with patterns today. This is getting more and more exciting! I'm lovin it!
