Thirdyfivepickup Posted January 8, 2020 Report Posted January 8, 2020 ...my father always called himself a "wood butcher" even though he could make anything out of wood. Some of what he could do rubbed off on me and here I am. I'm mainly using my saw for cutting out shapes on my artsy projects. I started with an old "buzz saw" and have just recently upgraded to a Menards scroll saw. I've only cut one project on the new saw but its awesome compared to what I was using. I'm hoping to learn how to better use my saw... how to select the best blades and HOW TO PROPERLY SET TENSION... as well as wood selection and of course technique I'm 47, married with 3 girls... work wholesale selling auto parts and like puppies and making saw dust. Oh, and cars. Love cars. amazingkevin, Scrolling Steve, meflick and 1 other 4 Quote
