Popular Post munzieb
My neighbor has a 1999 Prowler. He almost never drives it but I needed a quick project to cut and he will get it when I put a finish on it. (we are getting rain and fog for the next 4 days) tried a new trick to cover over the bridges. Had to add bridges for the lights mounted in the front bumpers and they make it looks like legs. Decided to paint them the same black paint as the backing and it covered over them very well. Didn't do the same for the tire bridges since they were not that distracting. Has anyone else tried this technique? Back to making boxes again. New Guy, jellis2, Roq and 14 others
Foxfold
Great cutting, Fabulous idea with the paint. I will store that in my memory bank. munzieb
Ninuninu
Nice job. Honestly never thought about painting the bridges and have always tried to use a workaround but not a bad idea. Thanks for the share Tony munzieb

Look beneath the 2 lights mounted in the bumpers. Used a REAL small brush.

Apart from very bad smoke haze over the last couple of days we are fine, thank you. Marg

Marg Hope the rain tamps down the smoke. I was not familiar with the term Billy Cart and had to look it up. kmmcrafts
Very nice work!! I also never thought about painting the bridges.. Great idea... Never forget the first time I seen one of these in a Motortrend? magazine.. I thought they was the coolest car.. at the time Dodge was making several new and unique styles of cars.. munzieb
heppnerguy
Another great piece by you. I will always be amazed at the patterns you make. Once we no longer have a steady visiting family, I hope to get back into my shop. Seems like no shop time for me for quite awhile as we have not had a break from people visiting since before New Years and on into March. I still have several of your patterns in my 'waiting to do' pile, to cut. Dick heppnerguy munzieb
munzieb
My Prowler "rest of the story" moment (Paul Harvey) My neighbor had just come back from work and I stopped by and gave him the Prowler Plaque. He was totally surprised and really appreciated it. We started talking about other cars and he had just finished getting a '68 Camaro working and had just sold it but he was going back to working on his '34 Ford he keeps at his warehouse. Need to find out if it's a coupe or cabriolet. I've cut a '36 cabriolet before. Oh well, more sawdust.
