How to print Mirror Image

Recommended Posts

I have a pattern I am scrolling that has  a title (name) in the pattern.

My pattern is too small for me to scroll the name (title).

My option is to print a mirror image and do an "Image Transfer" onto the wood I am cutting the  pattern on.

Is that clear?   Thanks all

When I did my Hampelmann puppets. I needed to flip the image to glue on the back side. I opened the file in Windows 10 file viewer and right click in image. There is a pull down tab in the middle right and "Edit, Create" is the option. Select, and Edit comes up. On the far right of the screen is  another menu with the title Crop, Rotate. Below that are 2 choices, Rotate and Flip. The flip will mirror, reverse the image. Hope that helps.

Hi, Larry, I don't know what kind of software you have but, I think most computers still include the Paint program.
Those instructions are below. Below that are instructions for the free programs Inkscape and Gimp.

Good luck and God Bless! Spirithorse

Paint

right click the photo and point at open with, and click on paint,

Click on the rotate listing and click on rotate horizontal it will work.

Thanks for the info here. I am still trying to figure out Inkscape. With the little I have learned, I decided to go back and revisit Travis's videos. Things are starting to penetrate the gray matter between my ears. Litter bit by litter bit. I only hope I live long enough so I can take what I have learned to my next life.
