I cut the deer from Alex Fox, if you want to pratice turns with the saw try this.

Please excuse me Pete, but what has cutting the deer pattern from Alex Fox, got to do with the piece you posted a pic of? I could understand your posting if you posted a pic of the deer, but not by what you posted?

Len Alex Fox makes multiple layers patterns.  What is pictured is just one layer of his deer pattern.  Here is the pattern:

Scott, thanks for the explanation, I am aware of Alex's patterns, but with the way this was posted, I just didn't clue in. If it had been posted that it was a layer or scrap from the cutting, I would have known what was meant by the posting.
