So I elected to cut one of the patterns I made. I call it Beining Nailed. I would love to hear honest comments about it. toolbeltman Posted February 20, 2011 Report Share Posted February 20, 2011 Hi Chris...you have a powerful moving portrait going there.... but IMHO it is too busy...the face and his hand look great....maybe the grain of the wood would look better on the diagonal...running the direction of the cross?...the hammer shaft appears to be too thin....I think you are on to something good with this pattern though..I hope this helps and isn't being over pickey.
