Popular Post Whisper
These are the first pictures I've taken with a new camera. And only the 3rd and 4th projects I've done. I used pine boards, segmented the pattern, and used the water/alcohol stains on them. I have 3 more of these cut out, my husband thinks we've been invaded by Teddies. don watson
I love these. Well done. I like segmentation as I get the job done with only a little sanding and shaping. Whisper

Rockytime
Great looking work! You should really be proud. What brand of water/alcohol stain did you use? I guess my question should be, what are water/alcohol stains? Whisper

I guess my question should be, what are water/alcohol stains? Thank you, the brand is Keda. These stains come in a powder, mix a tiny smidgen of that with a tbsp. of water and add alcohol, I used a 2 oz container and it was enough to do both of those bears in brown, 2 coats. The powders were totally absorbed with the liquids, no settling in the bottom.
