Popular Post Kris Martinson
I cut this portrait of my favorite actor today. Fairly simple pattern. This one took me about 3 hours of cutting and 1/2 hour to design pattern. How does that compare with all of you? munzieb, amazingkevin, frankorona and 13 others 15
Scrappile
Ya, simple pattern, he says.... right! Nice job.... Your patterns and cuttings always are. I was a huge John Wayne fan also. I never thought he was a great actor, if you think about it he played the same part in every show he was in. They put him in different wardrobes and maybe a few different actors around him, but he played the same part.... As time went by, he even wore the same costume in most of his Westerns... No matter I saw every show he was ever in, I think, and loved every one of them... OzarkSawdust and Kris Martinson 1

Ninuninu
Very nice Kris. Not a very complex pattern but nonetheless very nice. What do you use to make your patterns as for about 30 minutes that is pretty good. It would have taken me longer as I ink all my patterns by hand. I reckon it would have taken me closer to 6 hours than 3 to cut that with my fret saw though. Great work mate. Tony Kris Martinson

Bill WIlson
I'd say you nailed it. Nice job. Portraits don't always need to be complex. Sometimes they can be too busy and it detracts from the image, IMHO. Yours captures his likeness very well. spirithorse
Nice pattern, Kris, I think it would have taken me longer to make the pattern and a little less time to cut it but, what is really relevant is it's a good pattern and you cut it well! Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse Kris Martinson

Rockytime
Love the Duke. Thing is he didn't need to act. He just needed to be there. He had an amazing presence! OzarkSawdust and Kris Martinson
