Valentines gift

Only been at this scrolling stuff since mid November and this one was a challenge. Last week I was perusing SSV in the evening like I always do and I saw Denny Knappen’s heart box of Steve Good’s design. Coincidentally my wife walked by looked over my shoulder and suddenly I was given my next cutting project . 

I was a bit wary due to the minute detail but she wanted it and valentines is right around the corner. I found some cherry and hard rock maple in the shop and started the layout. Steve Good’s video on box cutting was very helpful. It took a fair bit of sanding but I am pretty pleased with the outcome.
