Popular Post heppnerguy
I know I have not posted any work since maybe December. We have had continual company since New Years eve and i had no shop time until this week. I now have about a two week reprieve until the next visitor blesses our house. I have made a couple of items but got them in the mail without any photos. I did remember to take a photo to post of this piece. I had a request from my granddaughter for this one the very first part of January and finally was able to get to the shop and make it. It is a Sue Mey pattern and I used 1/4 BB Ply on both the main cutting and the backer board.Sorry for the poor photography. I cut it with #3 Pegas MG blades. I am also finishing one that I made as a pattern a few years ago and plan to post it soon, also Dick heppnerguy Old Joe, jollyred, JimErn and 10 others

Rockytime
That's beautiful. I have never had to worry about relatives visiting. We left North Dakota 51 years ago and never left a forwarding address. Stole the recipe for ice cubes too. Don't know what they do in the hot summer! heppnerguy

OzarkSawdust
Awesome cross Dick ! I've been wanting to do a couple of those...How do you put the person's name on it? I haven't got the pattern yet...I assume it tells you how? But would rather hear from someone that did it.

I first size my pattern on Inkscape then I type individual initials and drag each one where I want to place it on the pattern. After that I print my pattern. It does come with an alphabet you can use if you so desire. It is a fairly easy pattern to cut and it takes with it, a lot of comfort to the ones that receive it. I have made several and I am getting remarks of gratitude for them years later, most of which I forgot I had even made one for them Dick heppnerguy OzarkSawdust
