Hi Everyone,

I'm new here and somewhat new to scrolling. I really like your site. I have a question. When framing your portrait cuts do any of you frame them behind glass? Thanks!!

I always have just to keep the dust from getting down in the black areas, also it looks better. I started out using plexiglass better known as plastic or acrylic. I thought this was a cheaper way to go, but it was not . I started using regular glass that you can get cut at most hardware stores . I get mine at Lowes Home Improvements. You can get glass and get it cut for around 2 dollars depending on size and it looks professional. Eagledrum70 :)

I cut my portrait boards to either 8"X10" or 8 1/2" X 11" and get wood frames from the Dollar Tree store. They have 'certificate' frames the the 8 1/2" X 11" fit, all for only $1 each. All with glass.

That is good information John I will keep that in mind . For me I make my own frames , so I have to get my glass cut. Thanks Eagledrum70
