Fedido
All, I have been told here repeatedly to show off my work. It is a new concept for me, but here it goes. The Bottom one is pretty straight forward. The top one was designed by my wife and I as we used her Crickcut machine. We are both learning that beast. Hope you guys enjoy it. By the way, has anyone worked with Purpleheart? That will be my next challenge. Hendo P.S. I have no idea why my photos turn to the side. frankorona, Scrolling Steve, stoney and 2 others
dgman
Nice work Dan! Purpleheart is a very hard wood. Make sure to use either blue painters tape under the pattern or clear packing tape over the pattern. The tape lubricates the blade and helps prevent burning the wood. Keep a sharp blade in the saw and let the blade do the cutting. Keep in mind Purpleheart will lose I color over time. It will turn a dark brown. amazingkevin

I have read that before, but wasn’t sure when to do it. Hendo

Hemi is actually a nickname of someone at work and he earned it. Hendo

Marg Thank you very much. The bottom one is Virginia Tech. A school a guy graduated from. The short answer for the top one is Hemi is type of engine that changed the way it compressed air to get more power. Dodge motor company is the one that designed it in the 60’s.
