kmmcrafts
It's been on there for a long time.. Probably nobody thinks there is any value to it or it doesn't work.. Put $50 - 100 on it and then let them talk you down to $10, lol.. Years ago my friend had a Mustang.. It was given to him as it didn't run.. Turned out to be something really simple like the power wire to the coil.. he didn't put any money into it.. didn't really want the car.. so he put it in the newspaper for $150... extended the ad for a couple more weeks.. couldn't sell it.. A co-worker told him to put the ad back on and price it at $700 sure enough.. sold it the day the paper came out.. guy talked him down to $500 LOL.. Funny thing was.. he had a lot of called on that car for the next week or so, LOL... nobody had any interest in a piece of junk $150 Mustang, Sometimes you just gotta make people see some sort of value by raising the price.. Rolf
That style of work will not work in the majority of the homes in my area. I have cut lots of things like this mostly as a test cutter, none of it will ever hang in my house. I am 71 but more modern designs appeal to my wife's and my taste. People in my area will pay thousands of dollars for a few strips of toilet paper with paint dribbled on it. I am serious about that. Intarsia and contemporary wood furniture also sells. Check out this web site that sells work by a local artist Dave Ebner who will be giving me his cutoffs. https://www.incollect.com/artists/david-ebner I have several friends that have one of his Scallion coat racks in their houses. One of those friends also has several pieces of his furniture. Not in my budget. kmmcrafts and OCtoolguy 1
Scrappile
@octoolguy, if you do buy this, why not try to find out the name of the builder. Be nice to know a little about him, he may have been a past member here. OCtoolguy and kmmcrafts 1

Several years ago when the berry basket was going out of business they ran a special sale. All of their patterns on a cd or download for $45 . Best $45 I ever spent as most all my clock patters are from them and I haven’t even scratched the surface of all those patterns. There is a few of these bigger project clocks in this set. But I’ve not got to make any yet. Got curious and looked up Berry Basket, They are back online, probably many of you know. RJF http://www.berrybasket.com/ Yes they are.. but not even half of the patterns are on their site.. and not sure how it is now.. but whoever was running it never responded to any questions or messages etc.. not sure if they even follow through with the order once you buy something.. There was some issues with them.. maybe that has been taken care of now? OCtoolguy
Scrappile
Just in case there is some confusion the pattern for this clock is on CherryTree site, not Berry Basket, and Berry Basket if really Scrollsaw.com OCtoolguy

If you're into fretwork, don't rationalize yourself out of any project whether it would sell or be valuable to anyone except to yourself in the true joy of making it come forth. Yes, you might spend $100 plus in lumber, spend 200 hours in cutting and kick your scroll saw a few times. But in the end, it's that sense of accomplishment that these types of projects can lead to whether it ends up in a dumpster or the art museum. So maybe you should go for it. Most regrets are for the things that one doesn't do. I totally agree with what you said. The simple pleasure of sitting at your saw and creating something, even if it's a "cow turd" represented in wood, what's the difference as long as you enjoyed doing it? ScollSaw Slasher
Your right Ray. I would have thunk that any one that would have a cow turd pattern would be the Rocky Man!!!!! Would need to be cut from the just the right aromatic wood. OCtoolguy, Rockytime, kmmcrafts and 1 other

Scrappile
Look in your file under "Cow Paddy". Out here in the great north west we refer to them as cow paddies. Turds are a different shape of matter' Oh, man, how did a discussion on clocks get down to this level..... kmmcrafts, Rockytime and OCtoolguy
Rockytime
Years ago I remember dried cow piès ďecopaged, mounted anď sold at craft shows. My mother grew up on the North Dakota prairies. She would tell me how she and 2 sisters would be sent out to gather dried cow pies. They were used for fuel. Verý long burning and very hot. There is a lot of good stuff on there but the travel distance is sometimes just not worth it. I bought my last saw and had to drive a lot farther than I usually would. It was on C/L though. I have watched a few Hegners on Marketplace.
