Fedido
Just thought I would share some of the work I finished during yesterday’s “lock me in the garage” time. Hope you guys and gals like it and as always, would love feedback. Hendo JimErn, RabidAlien, Scrappile and 6 others

dgman
Nice work Dan! How was it cutting the Purpleheart?
Fedido
@Clayton717, thank you very much! @dgman, I had to end up switching blades from a 9 tooth to a 14 tooth. Learned a valuable lesson that when one sees smoke, it is time to change the blade. Took a little to get used to it, but in the end, I really enjoyed it. Afterward, I cut some pine and it was like a hot knife through butter. Thanks for asking. Hendo amazingkevin

rjR
Great work. I have run scrollsaw for about 65 years now and may eventually know something about it! I actually still own that first saw and it still works. Very limited to the thichness of material it can handle though. I played with it last week JUST BECAUSE! I swear every time I cut any major project I learn something new. Fedido
Thank you all for the comments. I still have my first saw and thought about cutting some pine with it just because. Thanks you all again. Hendo
Rockytime
Very nice cutting. Don't pay much attention to tooth counts so what blade numbers are you talking about?
Fedido
@Rockytime, I am using Olson Blades. I have Flying Dutchman on order. I don’t recall seeing a number on it, however, I believe it is about .040. I know that doesn’t help much, but looking forward to the new blades.
