I've not seen one like that. Quote
planeur Posted March 8, 2020 Author Report Posted March 8, 2020 The little rectangular piece on the jig, is almost 1/8 thick, and have 1/4-20 thread and a screw 1/4-20 entering in the black handle and compressed the bar holding the wheel. To bad I don’t have that little piece number, I have a couple of them , but don’t remember where I bought them. But easily you can do one with a piece of metal and a 1/4-20 tap! The jig is from that video. Hope it help you Ray planeur Be_O_Be and OCtoolguy 2 Quote

I figured it must be a clamp to hold the sanding jig to the sanding table. Just wondering what it was. Edited March 8, 2020 by octoolguy Quote
jollyred Posted March 8, 2020 Report Posted March 8, 2020 I have had clamps like that, they are made to fit in a hole in the base of a machine. Haven't seen them used like planeur is doing. If it works, it must be right. Tom planeur and OCtoolguy 1 1 Quote
planeur Posted March 8, 2020 Author Report Posted March 8, 2020 Ray it is exactly as Tom said, it normaly used fot clamping something with a hole, but also as I did with it. I used this clamp on the jig because I nerver use it very much elsewhere ! planeur OCtoolguy 1 Quote
