Popular Post Charlie E Posted March 9, 2020 Popular Post Report Posted March 9, 2020 My shop is my therapist. Not sure if it's cheaper than a real one but it's in my backyard, so. I was a little down and I needed to cut something simple and happy today. I posted this on FB and said if a mom or grandmom wanted it to let me know. A young mom I never talk to but thought about while cutting it said she'd like it. Things like that are what I call God's breadcrumbs. Little reminders that He's there, and maybe we're on the right path. Scrolling Steve, meflick, Scrappile and 9 others 12 Quote
heppnerguy Posted March 9, 2020 Report Posted March 9, 2020 Very nice piece. Great wood choices and the caring person you obviously are, only made it one step better. I guess you put into it, a real loving touch. God works in what seems like strange ways sometimes. He got you thinking about a particular woman and she was the one who asked for it. What a wonderful story. I bet you are not 'a little down', now Dick heppnerguy meflick, RabidAlien, amazingkevin and 1 other 3 1 Quote

One of the lousy things about depression is how it makes you "not feel like" doing the things that might make you feel better. Knowing you are absolutely NOT alone helps. Tell her an old man in Alabama said "Hang in there, and she's got a lot of company. Some of us really cool people!" Edited March 10, 2020 by Charlie E amazingkevin 1 Quote

To tell the truth I don't know if it's copyrighted. I wouldn't cut something to sell that I didn't own but I'm a bit of a rogue if I'm cutting something for my shop wall or a case like this. I found the picture on google. I can send you a copy if you'd like to see it. Quote
