OCtoolguy
I was just scanning through different hose options for dust collection. This is very similar to the hose that came with my Fein vacuum and it is very handy to have. I think I will get this for my Ridgid shop vac that I use outside on my driveway with my Dewalt portable table saw. Notice that it has a variable adjustment for how much vacuum it will allow. That could be very beneficial. https://www.amazon.com/Cen-Tec-Systems-94192-Universal-Collection/dp/B07NZZZ5ZL/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=1-1%2F4"+x+10%27+Ultra-Flex+Clear+Vue+PVC+Hose+-+MADE+IN+USA%21&qid=1584041924&s=hi&sr=1-4 scrollingforsanity, jollyred and stoney 2

I have a small Craftsman vacumm that has an adjustable relieve valve built into the hose. OCtoolguy
Wilson142
Very similar to one I bought for my shop vac. I had my shop vac in a closet adjacent to my saw and punched a hole in the wall to use it while decreasing the sound level. Very flexible and many reducers and end pieces. Worked well for me. Scrappile
My Fein hose has a built in relieve value like that. I wasn't using it on my dust collection, but now I am. I just wish they sold something like that in 5' or so lengths. I have to buy it and than cut it up..... I use that long hose to clean the shop floor. It will even go outside. 16 feet is long. But I would never think of cutting it. scrollingforsanity
Rockytime
Now that looks useful. I have a big 16 gallon ShopVac that could use that. OCtoolguy and scrollingforsanity 1
amazingkevin
when the day comes for me to use dust collectors I've made i'll be using a pool vacumn hose for my hose someone thru out. I'm a picker upper as I see things I can use someday for scrolling!!! OCtoolguy, Scrappile, scrollingforsanity and 1 other
SteveS
I used a 2 inch ball valve modified to accept a 2 1/2 inch 'Y' fitting. I them spliced it into the 2 1/2 inch dust collector hose. Works good to reduce the vacuum at the 1 1/8 inch hose at the scrollsaw. No bucket collapse! On to the next dust issue, my drill press and dust from a mop sander.
