Iguanadon
Well, I knew it would happen and it has begun... scheduled craft events are cancelling... My big 2 day event over Easter just cancelled and I'm waiting for my big 1 day event April 25th to announce... On the bright side I'm way behind on cutting, so at least now it isn't so bad. I do this as a hobby business so I don't depend on these events to eat or pay my mortgage but I have a number of vendor friends who do and I feel really bad for what they're about to have to endure the next couple of months. And darnit I was all ready... Be_O_Be, scrollingforsanity, OCtoolguy and 4 others 2

Norm Fengstad
This virus thing has really put everything in limbo. I have two craft events in April and my stock is really low so we will see , scrollingforsanity
Jim Finn
Less than fifty have died in the US from this virus and half of them were in one nursing home in Seattle. Lots of hype! Our events here in West Texas are still on schedule. LarryEA and scrollingforsanity
Dave Monk
I was scheduled for a show this weekend in Fort Worth. As of this morning at 9 it was still on. I got there at 11 to set up which took me three hours. As I was getting ready to leave to head home they called it off. What a bummer. scrollingforsanity and Jim Finn 1

ScollSaw Slasher
Heck, my son who does events across the country (Corporate, medical, political etc etc) was on the plane to Arizona this week when one was cancelled. To say the least, he's really been affected with cancellations. It's his livelihood and hopefully things get back to normal quick. scrollingforsanity and wombatie 1

My company (day job) put a freeze on all travel for all 3,000 employees about 2 weeks ago. No visiting clients, no conferences, etc. Now a push for everyone to work from home (which many already do including myself). It's going to be a weird couple of months coming up. scrollingforsanity

WayneMahler
We just got notice that the three shows that were scheduled have been cancelled. 2 of the promoters are going to send our checks back. The one already cashed the check and waiting to hear what they are doing. Our Governor has cancelled all the schools for 2 weeks, not allowing any gathering of people over 250, and if you can work from home to do so. We had 1 case in the county below us and the rest were on the other side of the state . There are several more shows next month we are not sure of yet. Praying for all for good health and safe passage through this time of turmoil and illness . scrollingforsanity

Denny Knappen
Yesterday was completely dead in downtown Dayton, TN. We were able to get some framing completed, but no sales.
Woodmaster1
My woodworking club shop closed Monday and Tuesday so they can figure out what they want to do. I hope they let me get my tools out of my locker so I can turn things on my lathe at home. I have as much variety of tools and machines as they do except for a large lathe and 15" planer. I have enough wood for a few years of building projects.
