Popular Post Charlie E
I saw something similar to this on Etsy only the horses and edges were a metal cut-out laid over wood. I thought it looked like a cool scroll saw project. The back is 1/2" birch plywood stained Ebony so it has kind of a black marble look. The front is pine, distressed with a torch and stained English Chestnut. It is 19 1/2" X 39 1/2". Hoping to sell it to raise a little for someone affected by Covid-19. Charlie E
Just now, Frank Pellow said: Your staining, finishing and framing of this piece is outstanding! Thanks so much Frank! I intended to put a frame around it and decided it looked better without one. Kind of a cross between rustic and modern. I routed keyhole mounts on the back so it will hang flush on the wall. Thanks again.

Thanks again. In my opinion, the art is "framed" in that there is a contrasting border around it. Over a fireplace is where I picture it. Not much of a market for this kind of thing I suppose but it sure was fun to make.
