Charlie E
Nice job. The backer looks great. Not to "demean" the front which is also great. I just love it when the backer compliments a cutting like that. Ron Johnson
spirithorse
Well done! It's amazing how much difference the beading makes to the overall production. Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Dragonkort
I love these pieces!!! could someone please expline to me what beading is? a lot of my work would look much better if they had some kind of border or frame around them. I have spike rout out the sides of some of the pieces I do to make them look better. we have 2 routers the big one I have on a table that I had before spike came and then a smaller one that's easer for him to use with out being on a table. im still trying to get him to put the big router and table in the wood shop but he doesn't ike me to use it . I got hurt trying to route something once after he came and either I was going in the wrong direction or something because the wood bucked really hard and the router bit thingy went flying ….. I assume I didn't have it tightened enough. but I know there will be a time when he won't be able to route things for me and the little router is still to heavy for me. I am hoping to get him to put the big router in the wood shop and then let me practice using it while hes in the woodshop with me. Most of my beading is done by hand as I’ve done on these frames with a Stanley beading tool made in 1885. I did purchase new blades for it from Lie-Nielsen. I also use a Stanley 45 combination hand plane which does a beautiful job. Power routers can do a lot but for some jobs only a beading tool or hand router will do it right. Search uTube for a lot of advice re: beading. Thank you. amazingkevin

heppnerguy
Ron, You usual craftsmanship comes out in these rather simple patterns. I love how stately the people seem in them. I have not even heard of the beading before, but it sure adds a nice touch. Dick heppnerguy
