I am praying that you will be able to see him on easter. if not do you know to do skype? if you and his partents have skype you can sort of be there over the computer. when my mom died my cousin who had lived with mom for a few years aftr her father died wanted to be at the funral, but by then she had mover to cal....to help her be there with us my brother hooked up skype and help the computer up so she could be at the service and a part of everything that was going on... we even hooked up again after we got home so she could join in with the visiting of everybody after the furnal…. just a thought that might inable yu t spend easter with your family this easter even if we are still in the lock down mode. Missing it only because of the social distancing thing. If things improve by Tuesday, or I feel more relaxed about it, we will go over. I work in a business that gets walk in traffic. Up until Thursday late afternoon, we were still open. Most of the business could be done over the phone. Just being extra cautious. Just after the birth, my daughter was in hospital for a month, diagnosed with Lupus. Don't want to take any chances. We "face timed" yesterday!! Love technology these days!!! meflick
Barb, I know it’s hard but the social distancing you are doing is for the best for everyone. I know you would rather miss seeing them in person then risk anything possible being passed. Kudos to you. We are mostly hunkered down here as well. My husband is in healthcare so he is working but otherwise, I am staying home. My son is in Atlanta area and is working from home as someone in his building was diagnosed last week. He was already working from home. Good he has an IT job easily done online. Says he is staying ho,s otherwise as well. My daughter is here, she is in PT grad program and was headed to do a clinical rotation in Charlotte, NC that has, for now, been postponed. She was here so has stayed here so far rather then return to Atlanta since we have much less presently in our area then Atlanta does. So not all 20 year olds are out frolicking at the beaches and the bars. barb.j.enders
