Hello from Canada

Hello Everybody, my name is Diana and I live in Canada. I came across this site while looking for Snoopy scroll saw patterns online. I didn’t find any patterns but I found this site. I have been scroll sawing and doing intarsia for 30 years. I was a transport truck owner operator and discovered intarsia at a truck stop in Northern Ontario. I then went to a woodworking trade show and ended up buying an Excaliber scroll saw. Since I spent so much time in my shop working on my truck I decided to set up a workbench for my new hobby. I used the pictures from my Disney notebooks I used for work to keep track of my loads as my patterns. I started out first using pine, but quickly discovered where I could buy exotic woods to get some beautiful colours in my pieces. I love working with wood I find it very therapeutic and I get a great feeling from gifting my pieces. I’m very interested to read all your stories and see your beautiful work. I will attach some of my work.
