scrollerpete
Just got back from Florida for 3 months, back in my shop in the basement and my EX16 seems to have developed quite a bit of front to back movement from the blade. I think since I left her alone for 3 months she decided to punish me. Did not have time to read on it yet but since I have to be quarantine for another 8 days, it will give me lot’s of time to figure it out. The only thing that could happen is if the motor bolts came loose. That's where you adjust the aggressive cut. scrollingforsanity
scrollerpete
Will get at it tomorrow, first make sure that the arm is parallel and then move the motor back and forth. OCtoolguy and scrollingforsanity

Yes, I forgot about the arm. You didn't pick the saw up by the arm did you? That's a definitie NO NO. scrollingforsanity
scrollingforsanity
I had some trouble with my Seyco recently. I finally found the culprit, the four screws ( two on each side top and bottom ) on the front of the arm one side has the hold down foot attached. They were all loose and actually lost one of them. The bottom four were loose as well letting the linkage work loose in the arms. Went to the hardware store and got a new screw, tightened up the others and she was back in running condition. Checked my EX as well but they were tight as I had taken it apart before and must have cranked them down tight. Moral of story it doesn't take much to throw the saw a bit out of whack. Maybe a drop of blue LocTite is called for. scrollingforsanity

scrollingforsanity
That's possible Ray. They have stayed tight so far. I keep checking them. I think they must not have been really tight when I purchased the saw. OCtoolguy
scrollerpete
All is well, loosen the motor’s screws and fine tune it, had to move it about 1/4”. Now let’s get some projects done, still have 8 days left of self isolation. meflick and scrollingforsanity
