Popular Post BadBob
I recently purchased two magnetic sewing machine lights to use on my scroll saw. I have been quite pleased with them. Bright white light, and they don't move. I highly recommend these. They come with steel disks that you can stick on to any smooth surface so the magnet mount will work even on aluminum, plastic, or glass or another smooth surface. These cost me $12 US each. Well worth the money. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07N1MK51J/ Edited March 29, 2020 by BadBob Added Link meflick, amazingkevin, lawson56 and 8 others 7

amazingkevin
I,m happy with 150 watt bulbs but they are not cheap and I broke 2 so far.now I use daylight 60 led lamp.i have 2 but keeping one for a back up but lately am thinking of using both.i face outside my warehouse and the glare is very announcing.i kind of hide behind the lamp which helps. Your lights interest me. I,m using a sewing machine foot switch ,modified to just on & Off.simple fix, take out the reastat, change a wire configurating and I,m good to go an easy 7 years on the same pedal.i had to cover it in cloth as wood chips would get blown inside it and stop it from working.thanks for the incite on your lights OCtoolguy

nrscroller
That looks way better than the expensive one that Rocklers sells with a clamp that isn't worth it. Bill OCtoolguy

ScollSaw Slasher
There are some days that I see better without the lighted magnifying glass. Seem that these would be perfect and my wallet is itching. OCtoolguy
Sycamore67
I got my light today and it is bright. I ordered a similar one which is on the same Amazon page. It has a longer gooseneck of 24" vs 1 2" , two magnets instead of one, and three light levels instead of one. It does have fewer LEDs of 30 instead of 40 and is $14.99 instead of $11.99. My wife saw my new light and wanted one of the longer ones also so I ordered two which will be here Friday. OCtoolguy
Heli_av8tor
Can you post a link to the 24” one you ordered? OCtoolguy
Sycamore67
I said it was on the same Amazon page. So, use the link in the earlier posts and it is one of the options just below the description. OCtoolguy
Heli_av8tor
I did that before posting my request. And I’ve tried again. Apparently different “Sponsored Products” come up for different users. After 20 minutes of looking I’ve not been able to find one that fits your description. OCtoolguy
Sycamore67
All you have to do is go to the page linked above and click on the picture of it that shows $14.99. OCtoolguy
SteveS
Got mine yesterday. It is bright and works well. Thanks for the tip. OCtoolguy
Heli_av8tor
Thanks for your patience with me. With your screen shot I figured out that the long gooseneck was an option for the same listing and not a sponsored item further down the page. For some reason the prices didn't display on my page like they did on yours. Tom OCtoolguy

Tom Hey Tom, I just clicked on that link and it appears that the long ones aren't available at this time unless you want to buy a used one. Sycamore67
That is too bad. I just received two of them today Amazon Prime. I will be posting a review. I wish we had a sub forum specifically for reviews. Edited April 2, 2020 by Sycamore67 OCtoolguy
