Popular Post Badgerboy Posted March 31, 2020 Popular Post Report Posted March 31, 2020 Like many others I had time in the shop today and cut this H. Byler design for my 82 years young dad who still rides when the weather is nice. Cut from poplar it took me several hours and about the time I finished the wheel detail it occurred to me it would have MUCH. Easier if I had spiral blades. Cut with MGT #1 and #3. new2woodwrk Posted March 31, 2020 Report Posted March 31, 2020 Nicely done - that wheel looks like a toughy Quote
dgman Posted March 31, 2020 Report Posted March 31, 2020 Very nice work Todd! It might be easier to use spiral blades but I wouldn’t recommend them for this type of project. First, they leave a rougher cut on your work, and they leave a wider kerf, not good for puzzles. Quote
Rockytime Posted March 31, 2020 Report Posted March 31, 2020 Great cutting. What Harley owner wouldn't love it? Quote
wombatie Posted April 1, 2020 Report Posted April 1, 2020 That looks great but the front wheel would have been a nightmare. Very well done. Marg Quote

Badgerboy Posted April 1, 2020 Author Report Posted April 1, 2020 Thanks for all the kind words. I sent my dad a few pictures and he loved it, so much in fact he asked for two more for his riding buddies. Hi ho hi ho back to the shop I go! Quote
