Popular Post Badgerboy
Like many others I had time in the shop today and cut this H. Byler design for my 82 years young dad who still rides when the weather is nice. Cut from poplar it took me several hours and about the time I finished the wheel detail it occurred to me it would have MUCH. Easier if I had spiral blades. Cut with MGT #1 and #3. jollyred, Scrappile, RabidAlien and 7 others

new2woodwrk
Nicely done - that wheel looks like a toughy
dgman
Very nice work Todd! It might be easier to use spiral blades but I wouldn’t recommend them for this type of project. First, they leave a rougher cut on your work, and they leave a wider kerf, not good for puzzles.
Rockytime
Great cutting. What Harley owner wouldn't love it?

wombatie
That looks great but the front wheel would have been a nightmare. Very well done. Marg

Badgerboy
Thanks for all the kind words. I sent my dad a few pictures and he loved it, so much in fact he asked for two more for his riding buddies. Hi ho hi ho back to the shop I go!
